OBITUARY

LITTLE RICHIE PHILIPS.
Richard Curtis Philips, aged 3 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Philips, died at Lindsey, California, March 10, after a short illness from inflammation of the bowels. The funeral party arrived here Tuesday, and services were held at the Presbyterian church on Wednesday, Rev. Todd preaching an affecting discourse.

In his short life Richie had endeared himself to many outside of the home which has been so sadly stricken by his death. He was a child of many graces, the personification of sunshine, the embodiment of gladness. The earnest sympathy of the community is extended to the sorrowing relatives.
