WEST UNION -- Mrs. Addie Cullins, 80, died Friday at the home of her son, Clell Cullins of West Union, after an illness of two months. Her death leaves Frank M. Bishop of West Union as the only survivor of a family of twelve children born to Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Bishop, who came in a covered wagon from Monroe, Wis., to the West Union locality in 1849. Mrs. Cullins was born Feb. 8, 1860, on the Bishop homestead three miles southwest of this city. Clell Cullins, West Union, is her only grand child. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Mrs. Cyllins was a member of the Methodist church and the Rebekah Lodge.
