West Union, Ia.--Special: Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Presbyterian Church here for Mrs. George Brause, 73, who died Monday evening following a heart attack. She had been in failing health for some months.

Mrs. Brause, was the former Henrietta Hopf, native of Germany, and she came to America when six years old. She married Mr. Brause Oct. 27, 1887 near West Union, and they resided on a farm for 46 years. They lived in town here seven years.

She is survived by her husband; seven children, Earl and Mrs. David Yarrington, both of Waterloo; Mrs. Earl Dewey of Dubuque, Mrs. Floyd Gilley of Maynard, Mrs. Charles Bloomfield of Jackson, Neb., and Claude and David, both of West Union; 16 grandchildren; and two brothers, Albert Hopf of West Union and August Hopf of Independence.
