Small Boys Fined
45 Cents as Result
Of Practical Joke
~
Maynard, Ia. May 4-SPECIAL:
Nine boys who found that a practical joke has some drawbacks were fined 45 cents each for playing a prank on Floyd Taylor, a member of the cast of the local junior class play.

During the practice Wednesday evening Taylor was unable to locate his car. He notified Sheriff J. Robertson and the district attorney, and an investigation was made. It was learned that a group of boys had pushed the car into the cemetery, where it was found undamaged. The boys were rounded up, and admitted the act. The fine was to cover the transportation charge of the sheriff.
