Lars & Guri Sando

Lars & Guri Erickson-Sando and family came to Emmet County in 1867/1868. Lars took a quarter section of land south of his brother (Ole E. Sando) and west of family friend, Ole Svendson. Twin daughters were born in Aug 1868; but only one survived. In 1871, Lars died. Guri and 8 children left the area in 1880. In what township was Lars's land located? Where is he buried?

Note: Not sure if this information was recorded as Lars Erickson or Lars Sando. On his Declaration of Intent signed at Estherville in 1869, he used the patronymic "Erickson."
