May Jane,
Irvin French did not die in Emmet County according to Emmet County Death Records. I can provide you with Irvin's parents' obituaries, if you don't have them, as their deaths did occur in Emmet County. Irvin was listed as the informant when his mother died Dec. 28, 1945 so he and his family would probably be listed in the Estherville federal census of 1930. The Estherville Library has that census on microfilm if that would be helpful to you.
When Mrs. Emma French died she had six grandchildren: Kenneth L. Jones with the navy in Japan, Catherine Butler, Marcus; Charles R., Bernard I., Lawrence J. Jones and Gerald W. French, all of Estherville.
