Eleanor (Haberman) Reighard 1938-2020

Eleanor (Ellie) Reighard, age 82, daughter of Frank and Sofie Haberman was born January 14, 1938 at her home in Slayton, Minnesota. She died December 22, 2020.

After moving to Estherville, Iowa in 1946 she attended and graduated school from Estherville. After school, Ellie went into the workforce starting at the local bank in town, later moving to Golden Sun where she worked her way up to become an accounting manager until her retirement.

Ellie enjoyed gambling on slot machines every chance she got, playing cards, telling stories, and going on bus trips. She was involved in the bowling league for many years, winning many awards. Spending time at home reading, and watching game shows, but most of all Ellie enjoyed being in the presence of her beloved family.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sandi Reighard, grandson, Steve (Kari) Reighard, and her six great grandchildren, Kyah, Ally, Khloe, Abby, Liam and Nora.

She has been preceded in death by her son, Steven Reighard, granddaughter, Stephanie Hanson, parents, Frank and Sophie Haberman and seven siblings.

Interment will be at East Side Cemetery in Estherville.
