A private funeral service for Connie Burt was held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the United Methodist Church in Fenton, Iowa. Pastor Jon Williams was the officiant. Burial was at the Seneca Township Cemetery in Seneca, Iowa.

Connie Lee Burt the daughter of Wayne and Marcella (Sabin) Jones was born March 16, 1941 in VanMeter, Iowa. She died on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Accura Healthcare of Bancroft in Bancroft, Iowa at the age of 79.

She received her education and graduated from Ledyard High School. Connie was united in marriage to Gordon Burt on November 21, 1959. Following their marriage, the couple made their home in rural Fenton. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Fenton.

Left to cherish Connie's memory are her husband, Gordon; children, Laurie (Brian) Robison; Robert (Trish) Burt; Andrew (Kelly) Burt; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She has been preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild. Henry Olson Funeral Home of Fenton is assisting the family.
