Manly – Funeral services for Alfred G. [Gwyne] Moore, 74, a retired Rock Island Railroad employee and engineer who died at his home Wednesday [March 12, 1975] morning, will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Manly.

Burial will be in the Manly Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. Sunday until time of service. The Bride Colonial Chapel in Manly is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Stella; two daughters, Gwendolyn Richardson, Baltimore, Md., and June Peterson, Minneapolis, Minn.; one grandchild, Denise Moore, Manly; two sisters, Bea Smith and Lillian Scales, both of California, and two brothers, Booker and Aaron, both of Kansas City, Mo.

The family requests memorials be given to the A.G. Moore Memorial Fund. (Mason City Globe Gazette, Mason City, IA, March 14, 1975)
