I am seeking the death cerificate and obituary for my great-uncle Patrick Boyle. He died in Dubuque, Iowa in January of 1901. His wife's name was Ellen. I have looked at the Iowa vital records website and believe, if I have understood correctly, that I cannot obtain a certified death record because my relationship is not close enough to meet the requirements. Is this the case? Thank you for your assisstance.
