Glenn was born on October 21, 1961, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Gordon and Pat (Snyder) Burrows. He graduated from Lakeville High School in Battle Creek, Michigan, and earned his associate’s degree from Southwest Technical College in Fennimore, Wisconsin. He married Mary Knepfel on July 25, 1987, at St. Peter’s Church in Saukville, Wisconsin.

Glenn was an extremely active person who always had to be doing something. He loved skiing, cycling, running and hiking. He was a member of the Chestnut Mountain Ski Patrol for 25 years, a long-time volunteer with the Cuba City Youth Soccer Program, and a proud Eagle Scout. Glenn was a dedicated husband and father. He loved teaching his children about all of his interests, and was happiest when he was spending time with them. He enjoyed driving cars and his motorcycle, and he could often be found tinkering around the house and repairing whatever need to be fixed.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Burrows, Cuba City; four children, Karen (Kevin) Teutschmann, Two Rivers, WI, Anna Burrows, Cuba City, Allen Burrows and Paul Burrows, both of Kieler, WI; his mother, Pat Peach, Battle Creek, MI; a sister, Coleen Burrows-Cloward, Dubuque, IA; and two grandchildren, Jacob and Heidi Teutschmann.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Burrows; and his step-father, Roland Peach.

In lieu of flowers, a Glenn R. Burrows Memorial Fund has been established. Donations may be sent to the funeral home at 123 N. Jackson St., Cuba City, WI 53807.

The family wishes to thank Anna Bush and Roxanne Burgress for the care given to Glenn. Also, thank you to the Cuba City Community for the care and support shown during Glenn’s battle with ALS.
