Mr. Andrew Keesecker
The remains were accompanied to St. Mary’s Church, where the funeral services in the Catholic form, were conducted by Rev. Father Meis.

The procession included many early settlors, who had known Mr. Keesecker for over a quarter of a century, and the Typographical Union of Dubuque, of over thirty members, wearing crape.

The pallbearers were: John King, Peter Kiene, G. Blocklinger, Peter Moriarity, E. M. Newcomb, and F. M. Lenehan, wearing appropriate regalia.

On reaching the cemetery, the remains were deposited by the side of his wife and her sister, in a beautifully adorned and well fenced lot which he had long ago prepared for the family burial. Peace to the memory of the ever faithful veteran printer.
