John “Jack” Bradley, 93, of Dubuque passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Stonehill Care Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at10 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Rev Alan Dietzenbach officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary. Friends may greet the family from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14th at Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1640 Main Street where there will be a wake service at 6:30 p.m.

Jack was born June 3, 1925, in Dubuque, son of Vincent C. and Grace (Phillips) Bradley. He married Charlene Shea October 4, 1952 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, McGregor, IA.

He graduated from the University of Dubuque and was employed as purchasing supervisor at John Deere Dubuque Tractor Company retiring in 1984.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene; two sons, Michael (Jody) Bradley, of East Dubuque, IL, and Patrick (Joan) Bradley, of Dubuque; a daughter, Maureen (Tony Craine) Bradley, of North Liberty, IA; five grandchildren, Andrew (Jenny), Erin (Shawn), Adam, Killian and Kevin; and four great-grandchildren, Riley, Sean, Jackson and Grace.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert (Elsie) Bradley and a sister, Mary (Floyd) Wiederholt.
