C. J. Boeckenstedt is disabled with a fractured hip and severe bruises as the result of an accident. Mr. Boeckenstedt and his son, Joe, were returning home in a buggy while descending a hill the harness broke which frightened the horses and caused him to jump to one side which upset the buggy and the occupants were thrown out. The horse fell down and rolled back upon Mr. Boeckenstedt breaking his hip and inflicting painful bruises. Luckily the boy escaped injury.
