AN OLD MINER

Mr. Chas. De Lorimier, from Montana, one of the owners of the Trapper lode, arrived by last night’s coach and is stopping with his brother-in-law, Sam. Tibals. This is the first time he and his sister, Mrs. Tibals, have met in twenty-five years. During the whole of this time, Mr. De Lorimier has been west of the Rocky Mountains. Corinne Mail.

This Mr. De Lorimier is a brother of Wm. and Peter De Lorimier of this city and a well-known resident of this city in the early days of Dubuque. He has achieved a competence of this world’s goods and is now on his way home, and will be here in a few days. After so long an absence as is indicated by the above paragraph, he won’t know the city, and perhaps won’t know his own brothers and other relatives. He will receive a warm welcome.
