Lautenschlechter, the man whose house was searched yesterday, was fond of game. Besides the pair of ducks, the property of Mr. Peabody, which was not intended to be eaten, the fellow appears to have appropriated chickens enough of the flesh and blood sort to afford him a continual feast. In his yard was found a block on which it is supposed the blood of innocent chickens had been shed. Among the lumber yard was considerable belongings to Mayor Burch, which he has identified. Other property has also been identified, and much more, as well be seen by Marshall Finn’s notice elsewhere, remain to be identified, and much more, as well be seen as by Marshall Finn’s notice elsewhere, remains to be identified. Mr. Sixteenletters had an eye for almost anything that could be carried away. His examination is set for 1 o’clock today.
