NOW THIS IS SENSIBLE – Dr. Jackson of whom we have before spoken (the son of LeRoy Jackson of Hopkinton and brother-in-law of Prof. Calvin and the young man we mentioned a few weeks ago as having just graduated from the leading medical college of Cincinnati), has been looking over the adjoining portions of Iowa and Southwest Wisconsin, in search of a place to hang out his shingle, and can discover no location that suits him so well as Dubuque. He has entered into partnership with Dr. R. L. Hill, whose practice has gradually increased so that he has more than one person should attend to; and the new firm will be Hill & Jackson. Dr. Jackson is a thorough student, and possesses all the natural and acquired qualifications to render him a good physician, and we are very glad he has concluded to make his home among us.
