Last Rites For Milford Farmer

Funeral services for Marenus Johnson, 75, longtime Milford farmer, were held Saturday afternoon in the Little Sioux Lutheran Church with the Rev. Harald Bestul officiating.

Mr. Johnson died Wednesday morning, November 16, in St. Joseph Hospital at Sioux City. Burial was in the church cemetery with the Leyson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Henry Mertens, Kenneth Krukow, Conrad Danielson, Arthur Krukow, Henry Steer and Loren Wahlman. Mrs. Donald Brinkley accompanied Wendell Williams, the soloist

Born in Denmark Mr. Johnson is survived by his widow, Alice; one son, Nyle of rural Milford and three daughters, Mrs. Allen Olson of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Harm Wolthuis of Lake Park and Mrs. Howard Titterington of Milford.
