WALTER KREKEL, NATIVE HERE, DIES IN OMAHA

Word was received here yesterday of the death of Walter Krekel, native of Burlington and a resident of this city until six years ago, which occurred in Omaha, Nebraska, late Friday night (October 29, 1926).

Ho was born in Burlington April 25, 1901, and was married to Miss Elsie Speidel. He is survived by his wife and three children: Marion, Elsie, and Walter Jr.; three sisters, Laura Krekel of Omaha, Nellie Krekel and Mrs. C. O. Ellis of Lincoln, Nebraska, and four brothers, K. W. Krekel, A. G. Krekel and W. E. Krekel of Burlington, and C. G. Krekel of Des Moines.

Mr. Krekel was a member of the Presbyterian church. Funeral services and burial will be held in Burlington, probably Tuesday afternoon according to tentative arrangements.
