Alex Speidel, 77, of Denver, Colorado, died at 4 p.m. Monday, September 2, 1991, in Mercy Medical Center, Denver.
He was born, October 6, 1913, in Burlington, the son of John Albert and Mamie Linsenmyer Speidel.
He married Helen Miller on November 18, 1939 in Burlington.
Surviving are his wife; 2 sons: Charles, of Denver, and Chris, of Aurora, Colorado; 3 sisters: Florence Carlson, Marian Clark and Helen Britton, all of Davenport, Iowa; and on grandson.
Funeral service took place at 1 p.m. the following friday at Prugh's Chapel with the Rev. Milton Geisler officiating.
Burial in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington.
