Mrs. Ruth Stuehmer Norton, 64, Davenport, a former Burlington resident, died at 4 p.m. Saturday, September 30, at the Lutheran hospital, Moline, Illinois.

She was born February 8, 1908, in Burlington, the daughter of Clarence A. and Alice Smyth Wells. She married Charles Stuehmer in April 1932. He preceded her in death. She then married Luther Norton.

Mrs. Norton was a supervisor for the R. L. Polk Company.

Surviving: Several nieces and nephews. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Prugh's chapel; Aspen Grove cemetery.
