ULCERS CAUSE DEATH OF A HORNICK MAN

Ulcers of the stomach caused the death of William Ashmore. of Hornick, Ia. a resident of Woodbury county for the past 40 years, Friday morning at a Sioux City hospital following a lingering Illness. He was 58 years old.

Mr. Ashmore was born at Burlington, la., in 1868 and lived in that vicinity until he was 18 years old, when he came to Woodbury county and settled at Hornick, where he had made his home since.

Surviving are two sons. Woodrow and Newton Ashmore, of Sergeant Bluffs; a daughter. Margaret, also of Sergeant Bluffs; three brothers. A. J. Ashmore of Hornick. Ia., Samuel Ashmore of Villisca, Ia., and Thomas Ashmore. of Oakdale. Cal. and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Dally, of Burlington. Ia.. and Mrs. Anna Ware, of Aitkin. Minn.

Funeral services will be held at Hornick this afternoon. Interment will be in the cemetery at Holly Springs. Westcott's undertaking firm is in charge.
