Mr. Hoambrecker was found dead about 9:30 this morning in the dawn at Central avenue and Spring street where he had gone to empty pail of dirt. His body was discovered by some neighbors and Coroner Chas. Adank and the police ambulance were summoned. Thinking possible Mr. Hoambrecker might still be alive he was taken to Burlington hospital where a doctor pronounce him dead before he was removed from the ambulance, and the body was taken to Unterkircher funeral home pending arrangements for the funeral.

Mr. Hoambrecker was born on a farm three miles southwest of Kingston, Sept.10, 1858, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoambrecker, and he lived on the farm until he retired and came to Burlington years ago. He was married in 1909 to Elsie McCorkle, who survives him, and he was a member of the Bethany Lutheran church.

Besides his wife he is survived by four sons, Carl Hoambrecker, Forrest Hoambrecker, Dennis Hoambrecker and Roger Hoambrecker, three daughters, Mrs. Harry Wand of Burlington, Mrs. Arthur Ward of West Burlington and Miss Jane Hoambrecker of Kingston: one step-daughter, Mrs. Wallace Walker, and six grandchildren.

Mr. Hoambrecker had been in failing health for some time, and suffered a previous stroke several years ago.
