Danny Kaye Robinson

Danny Kaye Robinson, 66, of Burlington, died on Monday, September 4, 2017, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born June 10, 1951, in Burlington, IA, he was the son of Ralph Cleo and Rose Marie Robinson.

Danny was a truck driver for Ideal Concrete, WW Transport and many other local over the road companies.

He was a member of West Burlington Christian Church. He loved all races that turn left and was a fan of the drivers Sammy Swindell and Jac Haudenschild. He enjoyed helping others. He was especially honored during his life to drive Tonya Tucker's tour bus.

Survivors include two sons, Taylor K Robinson and Denny James (Sara) Robinson, both of Burlington; two daughters, Heather (Chris) Gill and Jenny Binder, both of Nebraska; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, David (Karen) Robinson of O'Fallon, MO and Dean (Barb) Robinson of West Burlington; one sister, Bette (Russell) Brissey of West Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, and one sister, Connie Haley.
