Danville Woman Who Died Last Night
Will Be Buried At Sharon

Danville, Ia. - April 16-The Funeral of Mrs. John Beattie of Danville, who died at the Burlington hospital at 11:30 o'clock Wednesday night, will be held at the Sharon Reformed Presbyterian church near Roscoe, at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon. Rev. Mr. Patterson of Morning Sun will be in charge, assisted by Rev. Mr. Hill of Danville. Burial will be in the Sharon cemetery.
Mrs. Beattie's death was caused by complications brought on by an attack of mumps, following the birth of an infant daughter twelve days ago. She was born at Red Oak,Ia.,October 18, 1889, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Heckert. She was married to John A. Beattie at Red Oak, February 16, 1917. Since her marriage she has lived in Des Moines County.
She is survived by her husband and two children, Howard, six years old and Emma Mae, the twelve day old daughter. Her mother, Mrs. Emma Heckert, and one brother, Russell Heckert, both of Red Oak, also survive her.
The remains were taken from the hospital to Prugh's undertaking parlors, where friends may call this afternoon and Friday morning. The funeral cortege will leave the undertaking establishment at twelve o'clock Friday noon and friends are invited to accompany it to the Sharon church.
