Services for Mrs. Fern Elsie Hand Dean, 31, of 1116 Osborn, who died in a fire on Saturday, April 24, will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Prugh's chapel, Rev. Mr. Don Hickman; Carman cemetery, Carman, Ill.
Born April 28, 1944, at Burlington, she was the daughter of Woodrow and Faye Harris Hand. She married Wayne C. Dean at Oquawka, Ill., on Nov. 17, 1974.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving: The husband; one son, Tom Rettig, in Maryland; five daughters, Tina, Kathy, Kim and Tammy, all of Burlington, and Mary Ellen, Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Richard and Adrian, both of Burlington; five sisters, Mrs. Jack(Sharon)Nichols, Mrs. Floyd(Joyce)Schnedler, Mrs. Kay Bolander, and Mrs. Linda Rollins, all of Burlington, and Mrs. Bonnie Dashnaw, Anchorage, Alaska.
