Mrs. Minnie C. Franklin, 94, of Heritage Acres Care Facility, Cedar Rapids, formerly of Burlington, died at 5 a.m. Monday, December 24, at Heritage Acres Care Facility.

Born December 20, 1896, in rural Iowa, she was the daughter of Henry and Emma Dietsch Poggemiller. She married Albin Franklin. He died August 12, 1948.

She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Audrey Glawe, Salinas, California; and Mrs. Betty Brown, Cedar Rapids; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Gallagher, Burlington; and Mrs. Rose Burke, Morro Bay, California.

There will be no formal visitation. Friends may call at Prugh's Funeral Home.

The funeral for Mrs. Franklin will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Prugh's Chapel with the Reverend Darryl Bockting officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to Zion United Church of Christ.
