John Henry Sullivan, 89, 2424 Herman Ave., died at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 1990, at his home.
Born Feb.13, 1901 at rural Sperry, he was the son of John and Katherine Weigert Sullivan. He married Winnie May Ancelet on June 26, 1925 at rural Basco, Ill.
Mr. Sullivan was an iron worker and belonged to Local 577 for 45 years. He retired in 1963.
He is survived by his wife; two sons. Dale Sullivan of Burlington and Robert Sullivan, West Burlington; a daughter, Doris(Kenneth)Wilson, Burlington; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

There will be visitation through Tuesday at Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The funeral for Mr. Sullivan will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Parrott officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
