Albert Reif Death.

Albert Henry Reif, 53, Flint River township farmer, died at his home at 5 p.m., Monday. In poor health several years, the heat was the cause of his death.

He was born June 1, 1883 in Franklin township and was married to Esther Luth Dec. 15, 1920. His first wife, the former Anna Krieger, died Nov. 2, 1919. He was a member of Salem Lutheran church in Franklin township. Mr. Reif had lived in Flint River township 16 years.

Surviving are his widow; his mother, Mrs. Sarah Reif of Burlington; four children, Edith and Amos at home, Mrs. Lucile Jacoby of Yarmouth, all by his first marriage, and two brother and three sisters, Martin Reif of Burlington, Lawrence Reif of Rural Route 4, Burlington, Mrs. Henry Oetken, also of Rural route 4, Mrs. William Rheinschmidt of this city, and Mrs. George Grotjan of Moberly, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at the Salem church at 10:30 Thursday morning preceded by rites at the residence at 10 a.m. The body will be removed to the residence from the chapel Thursday morning.
