Yarmouth (IA) -- Dr. Nathan Campbell, 93, of Yarmouth, died at 6:10 p.m. Friday, April 28 at Mediapolis Care Center.

He was born June 27, 1884, at Salem, the son of Thomas and Caroline Frazier Campbell. He married Hazel Gilleard July 25, 1917, at Yarmouth. She died January 1,1959.

He attended the Chicago School of Medicine and Surgery, and Loyola University, Valparaiso, Indiana. He practiced medicine from 1914 to 1962 at Yarmouth.

He was formerly a member of the Friends Church at Salem, Modern Woodmen and Masonic Lodge and was a member of the Iowa and American Medical Associations.

Surviving: One daughter, Mrs. Richard (Vironda) Baker, Yarmouth; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday, Elliott Chapel in New London, Reverend Fred Harris; Trinity cemetery. A memorial for crippled children has been established.
