Large Attendance at the Funeral of J. Sperber, Augusta

Augusta, Ia., July 15--Many relatives and friends attended the funeral services of Jacob Sperber Thursday morning at the family home near the upper Augusta road, conducted by Dr. Naboth Osborne of Burlington. The pallbearers were: Mr. MrCord, Bert Buxton, Louis and George Tiedemann, William Helt and Frank Burk. Interment was made in the Sperber cemetery.

(ed.--Sperber cemetery was in the NW 1/4 of Section 18, Township North 69 Range 3 West. This cemetery was purchased by the federal government when the Iowa Army Amunition Plant was built. Jacob Sperber's burial is now listed in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Burlington, IA.)
