Obituary.

Death of Mrs. Elizabeth Phillips.

Sunday morning Mrs. Elizabeth Phillips, wife of Mr. M. W. Phillips, died after a lingering and painful illness, at the age of thirty-two years. The funeral will take place from Olivet church, where the religious services will be held, at half-past two o'clock this afternoon.

The disease which terminated in her death was consumption. The deceased endured great sufferings and her agony was often beyond the ability of human endurance to support. During the closing days of her life, while her spirit seemed fluttering between this life and the future, her husband was a constant watcher by her bedside, day and night, while other friends aided in doing all that human power can do to alleviate her sufferings and soften the dying moments of the invalid. To those stricken hears that are bowed under this sad bereavement, the sympathy of the community goes out with all the tenderness that the sad occasion summons.
