Debra Jane Keck, 60, of Danville, died at her home Thursday, February 12, 2015.
Mrs. Keck was born September 19, 1954 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Marvin "Butch" and Norma Brennen Ford. She attended schools in Glenwood, Iowa and Mt. Pleasant High School. On June 17, 2006, she married Scott Keck in Mt. Pleasant.
She had been a nurse's aide for years, working at the Danville Care Center for 16 years. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Keck is survived by her husband of Danville; one daughter, Tracey Carlson of Burlington; two step-children, Timothy Keck of Cedar Rapids and Shawna Keck of Burlington; two grandchildren, Zachary and Kayla Robey; two sisters, Denise Cizek of Ruthven, Iowa and Brenda (Rick) Jordan of Jonesboro, Maine.
There will be no formal services for Mrs. Keck. According to her wishes, she has been cremated and inurnment will be held at a later date. There will be a visitation on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Elliott Chapel, New London from noon to 5:00 PM, with the family present from 3:00 to 5:00. Memorials have been established to Great River Hospice and the American Cancer Society.
