Harry Schulte, 74, of Burlington, died at 6:58 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2003 at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa.

Born May 27, 1928 in Schwelm, Germany, he was the son of Karl Gustav and Elfrieda August Schulte.

Mr. Schulte was a horticulturist/landscape designer. He was of the Protestant faith, He served in the German armed forces.

Survivors include two daughters residing in Germany; one step brother of Germany; and one stepsister also of Germany.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service for Mr. Schulte will be at a later date.
