Burton Everett Marshall, 83, Sperry, died March 25, 1980, in Chandler, Arizona.

He was born March 24, 1897, in Des Moines county to Ira and Blanche Larkin Marshall. He married Luella Kissinger March 22, 1923, in Burlington.

He was a farmer for 50 years, a World War I veteran and a graduate of Iowa State University. He was a member of Wesley Chapel church, Mount Pleasant, and the American Legion.

Surviving his wife; a daughter, Joyce Schute, Burlington; a brother, Ralph Marshall, Sperry; two sisters, Daisy Burgus, Sperry, and Hazel Granaman, Burlington; and one grandson.

Services were 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, Fry Chapel, Mediapolis, the Reverend Delbert Terry; Kossuth cemetery, Mediapolis.
