Yarmouth (IA) -- Mr. Raymond Theodore Funk, 60, a life resident of the Yarmouth community, died at his home here at 3 p.m. Friday (March 29, 1963), while in the process of moving to Bettendorf.

Born in Henry county June 26, 1902, he was the son of Chester and Elsa Funk. He was married December 22, 1926, at Mt. Pleasant, to Esther Bauman.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Ethel and Verla Funk, both of Bettendorf; his mother, New London; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Rice, Danville; Mrs. Frances Stafford, Sperry, and Mrs. Edith Heibner, Danville; a brother, Kenneth Funk, Burlington, and a number of nieces and nephews.

His father, one sister and one brother died previously.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Fry Chapel in Mediapolis, the Reverend William Rushhaven officiating. Burial will be at Bettendorf.
