Mabel Karine Davidson Peterson, 102, of Honeoye Falls, New York, formerly of Burlington died Saturday, April 2, 2011 at The Cottages in North Chili, New York.

Born September 19, 1908 in Emmons, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Isaac and Clara Turtness Davidson. On April 25, 1938 she married John T. Peterson in Northwood, Iowa. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1972.

Mabel lived almost her entire life in Burlington and the Midwest area. In 2001 she moved to Honeoye Falls to be near her daughter.

Survivors include her daughter, Joan L. Kelley of Honeoye Falls; granddaughter, Karine Kelley-Siu (Kam Siu); grandson John Kelley; one great-grandson, Sebastian Siu ; son-in-law, Timothy Kelley; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Peterson; brother, Ole Davidson and sister, Irene Davidson.

Graveside Memorial Funeral Service and Interment for Mrs. Peterson will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 12th in Kossuth Cemetery, Mediapolis. The Rev. Suzanne Smith will officiate. Following the graveside service everyone is invited to a reception to be held at Apron Strings, 608 Main Street, Mediapolis.

Cremation has been accorded.
