Robert Alan Bergren

MEDIAPOLIS - Robert Alan Bergren, 18, died at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, at Burlington Medical Center after an extended illness.

Born March 5, 1960, in Burlington, he was the son of Marcus Bergren,Sr., and Dorothy Mehaffy Bergren.

He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church, Mediapolis.

Surviving: The parents; four brothers, Marcus,Jr. and Michael, both of Mediapolis, Steve, Sperry, and Kenneth at home; sister, Mrs. Christine Laue, Burlington.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Immanuel Lutheran Church; Pastor Carl Beyerheim; Kossuth Cemetery. A memorial to Muscular Dystrophy has been established at Fry Chapel.
