Louise Broeker, 91, last surviving member of a pioneer Des Moines county family, died Monday, November 8 (1976), at Mt. Vernon, Ohio.

The daughter of Fred and Whilamina Wenzel Broeker, she was born May 30, 1885, on a farm near Prairie Grove.

After the death of her parents, Miss Broeker lived for six years at the home of a niece, Ruth Brenneke Dawson, Mt. Union; she then settled at Brandon, Ohio, where she lived for 47 years.

Several nieces and nephews survive.

Funeral: Brandon Baptist church Thursday, November 11; Brandon cemetery.
