Mrs. Marguerite M. Kneedy, 49, of 414 Hageman, died at 7:45 p.m. Thursday (February 2, 1961) at Mercy hospital. She had been in failing health for two years.

Born August 16, 1911, at Raritan, Illinois, she was the daughter of James and Margaret Barry Clavin. She was married to Ernest A. Kneedy April 15, 1929, in Burlington.

Mrs. Kneedy was a member of St. Paul's Catholic church.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Charles, at home, and James, Burlington; a daughter, Mary Ann Kneedy, Bettendorf; two grandchildren; three brothers, Gilbert Clavin, Ft. Madison; Charles, Houston, Texas, and John of Little Rock, Arkansas, and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents and a brother are dead.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Paul's Catholic church. The cortege will leave Prugh's chapel at 8:30. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
