Morning Sun (IA) -- W. E. (Bill) Berry, 96, Morning Sun, died at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at Morning Sun Manor.
He was born April 2, 1886, at Conesville to Addison and Lisle Griffith Berry. He married the late Merle Brown January 2, 1913, in Burlington.
He was a retired farmer. Surviving: Two sons, Loyd, Wyoming, Minnesota, and Earl, Morning Sun; two daughters, Hazel Kiker, Santa Rosa, California, and Wilna Wunnenberg, West Burlington; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday, United Methodist Church, the Reverend Fred Harris; Elmwood Cemetery. A memorial has been established at Pierce Funeral Home.
