Flora M. Stoermer, 96, of Burlington, died at 825 AM Sunday, June 2, 1996, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Nov. 10, 1899, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Henry William and Minnie Niemeyer Hofmann. On April 25, 1922, she married George Wickhart Stoermer in Burlington. He died July 2, 1973.
Mrs. Stoermer was a homemaker.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, a former member of Railway Postal Clerks Auxiliary and Alert King Daughters Circle.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Huth of Burlington and Odett Reger of Dallas, Texas; two sons, Richard Stoermer of Burlington and Larry Stoermer of Danville; nine grandchilder; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters.
Visitation will begin after 3 p.m. today at Lunning Chapel. There will be no family visitation.
A graveside service for Mrs. Stoermer will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Aspen Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. Carl Engstrom officiating.
A memorial has been established for Bethany Lutheran Church.
