Burlington native Dalton F. Koett, 51, Chadwick, Illinois, Route 2, died Thursday, May 21, in Sterling Hospital, Sterling, Illinois.

He was born February 7, 1930, to Charles and Alvina Koett. He married Roberta Chevalier in June 1952. She died in 1955; and on July 14, 1956, he married Janet Habben. He was a four-year Navy veteran, discharged in 1951; and was an electrician for Northwestern Steel and Wire Company, Sterling.

Surviving: his wife; three sons, Roger, Milledgeville, Illinois, and Jay and Gary, both at home; two daughters, Dale Kling, Rock Island, Illinois, and Faith Dunn, Sterling; his mother, Alvina Lohmann, Burlington; four brothers, Charles Koett, in Texas, Eugene Koett, Rock Falls, Illinois, and William Lohmann and Frank Titus, both of Burlington; sister Alvina Stokes, Herndon, Virginia; and one granddaughter.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday, West Jordan Lutheran Church, Sterling. A memorial to the church has been established at Allen Funeral Home, Sterling.
