Joyce Elaine Mosbach Morrison, 77, of Burlington died at 9:45 PM Saturday, June 21, 2014 at her home.

Born March 1, 1937, in Greenville, IA, she was the daughter of Wes and Elaine Northern Bennett. On July 10, 1955, she married Otto DeWayne Mosbach. They were married 18 years.

Joyce was a secretary for North Hill Elementary School for 30 years, retiring in 1999.

She was a graduate of Des Moines Township High School, Rolfe, IA.

She celebrated over 50 years of Bridge playing with the same Burlington Bridge Club beginning in 1961. She loved EVERYTHING, but especially gardening, garage sales, video poker, and the cabin.

Survivors include two daughters, Denise "Deni" (Vern) Scrivner of Gold Canyon, AZ, and Micki (David) Locklin of Thorndale, TX; two sons, Mitch (Lin) Mosbach, and Jon (Annette) Mosbach, both of Burlington; 11 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; her mother, Elaine Bennett; four brothers, Jack (Jody) Bennett, Tom (Alberta) Bennett, Kenny (Barb) Bennett, and David (Kathy) Bennett, and three sisters, Judy (Roger) Ditzenberger, Susan (Denny) Hudek, and Shawn (Tom) Bennett. She is also survived by a host of friends, nephews, nieces, and a loving family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wes Bennett on December 23, 1991.

Visitation will be from noon until 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Thielen Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 25, 2014.

The funeral service for Ms. Morrison will be 10:00 AM Wednesday June 25, 2014, Thielen Funeral Home with Reverend Dean Graber officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will be held in the community room at Thielen Funeral Home following the burial.
