Services for Mrs. Mary Lou Allen, 22, Middletown, killed by a lightning bolt Sunday afternoon at the Ft. Madison Spring Lake Golf Course, will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday, St. Mary's Catholic Church, West Burlington, Father Joseph Pound. St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary; Prugh's Chapel, 7 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Allen was born Aug. 22, 1947 in Burlington, the daughter of Francis and Lucille (Sullivan) McCann. She married Ronald Allen on March 9, 1968 at Macomb, IL. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church. Surviving: husband, son Jeffrey; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis McCann of Colchester, IL., seven brothers, Carl of Macomb, Ronald and Vincent of Burlington, Earnest with the Army in Vietnam, and Dennis, Paul and Patrick of Colchester, IL.; three sisters, Marjorie McCann of Burlington, Rita McCann and Donna McCann of Colchester.
