Jaley Elaine Akers, 6 months, of Burlington, died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born August 25, 2002, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Randy Allan Akers and Donna Louise Davis.

Besides her mother and father, both of Burlington, survivors include two sisters, Alexis Hite and Laney Akers, both of Burlington; her maternal grandparents, Angela and Jamie Hardman of Burlington; her paternal grandparents Peggy Hoenig and Everett Gerveler, both of Franklin; great-grandparents, Glenda and Jerry Hardman of Keokuk; Ann and Kenny Davis of Lowell, Arkansas, and Mary Mower of Dallas City, Illinois; two aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her great grandmother, an aunt and one cousin.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Prugh's Chapel.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Prugh's Chapel with the Rev. Jeffery S. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Babyland, Aspen Grove.
