Frances Klatt

Frances Moehn Klatt, 79, of Glenwood, Ill., died Friday, April 3, 1998, at McNeal Hospital in Berywn, Ill.

Born Nov. 5, 1918, in Danville, she was the daughter of Walter and Lucille Sutton Moehn. On Oct. 31, 1943, she married Loren E. Klatt. He died Sept. 15, 1979.

Mrs. Klatt was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church and Park Forest Garden Club.

Survivors include one son, Richard Klatt of Summit, Ill.; two brothers, Dean Moehn of Burlington and Paul Moehn of Des Moines; and one sister, Marjorie Lotz of Overland Park, Kan.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son and one brother.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Long Creek United Methodist Church in rural Danville.

The funeral for Mrs. Klatt will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Long Creek United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jeffrey Frese officiating. Burial will be in Long Creek Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Muscular Dystrophy Association, 2101 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Ill. 60005, or the donor's choice of an AIDS research charity.
