Delores May Liberman, 89, of Manchester, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020, at her residence.

Memorial Service: 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester.

Visitation: 9-11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester.

Because of COVID-19 concerns, masks are strongly recommended at the funeral home.

Inurnment: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.

Delores was born Oct. 24, 1931, in Sioux City, the daughter of Walter and Katherine (Wulf) Scott. Delores grew up and attended school in the Sioux City and Omaha, Neb. areas.

On Aug. 19, 1948, Delores was united in marriage to George Edward Liberman. Eight children were born to this union. Delores worked at the Tip Shop for 20 years. She spent a short amount of time working at Wilson’s in Cedar Rapids. Delores also worked at Ertl’s for 20 years and owned The Barn for 10 years.

Delores enjoyed playing cards and Bingo. She liked going to the casino. Delores liked to crochet in her spare time and always loved the color purple. Delores loved her family and spending time with them.

Survivors include her seven children: Georgia (L.D.) Henderson, of Anamosa, Jackie (Salavador) Rodriguez, of Manchester, Ronald (Lupe) Liberman, of Manchester, Charlotte Kalish, of Prairie Du Chien, Wis., Charlene (Dale) Manson, of Manchester, Peggy (Gene) Mozingo, of Manchester, and Rodney (Michelle) Liberman, of Cedar Rapids; 32 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George in 1987; and her daughter, Sharon DePauw.
