DEATH OF MRS. ROGERS
Mrs. Johanna (Buckley) Rogers was born January 8, 1854, in the state of New York and removed with her parents to Dubuque, Iowa, when she was a young girl. Soon after removing to Iowa her mother died and when but sixteen years of age her father died, also leaving her with her two brothers and two sisters as orphans. Until eighteen years of age she made her home with a family by the name of Carrigan, at Earlville, Iowa. On October 8th 1876 she was united in marriage to John Rogers of Earlville, with whom she lived until his death November 23, 1905. To this union five children, two girls and three boys, were born. One daughter, May, at the age of 28 years died, on December 22, 1906. One daughter, Effie L., and three sons, Ernest W., Frank E., and Bert A., remain to mourn her departure. Besides the above named a brother and two sisters survive her.

Seven years ago, she with her family removed to Dundee, since which time she has resided here until her death on Saturday,. November 14, 1914.

For nearly two years past the deceased has been in ill health and death came as a relief from her great physical sufferings.

Funeral services were held from her late home Monday afternoon at two o'clock conducted by the Rev. R. Wesley Mack, pastor of the Dundee W. M. church. Beautiful and appropriate music was furnished by a choir from the Dundee Lutheran church. Interment was made in the Fairview cemetery at Earlville.
