Donna J. Harris, 64, died Saturday morning, Nov. 18, 1995, in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Earlville United Parish, by the Rev. Lynn Patrick. Burial: Fairview Cemetery, Earlville. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Clifton Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Survivors include three daughters, Judy Harris of Harbert, Mich., Merrie Heins and husband Don of Cuthbert, Ga., and Sandra DeMoss and husband David of Manchester; two stepsons, Herbert Harris and wife Wanda of Cedar Rapids and Jon Harris and wife Mary of Columbia, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; six sisters, Phyllis Thibadeau and husband John of Manchester, Ginger Bell and husband Merlin of Elkport, Janice Klaus and husband Evert of Colesburg, Nancy and Paulette Herman, both of Earlville, and Jacqueline Troester and husband Eugene of Guttenberg; and three brothers, Vince Herman and wife Betty of Earlville, Larry Herman of Cedar Rapids and Rodney Herman and wife Carol Ann of Manchester.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a stepson, Don, on May 12, 1970.

Donna Joann, the daughter of Loren and Sarah Ione Shaw Herman, was born Sept. 20, 1931, in Colesburg.

The family moved to Earlville, where Donna graduated from Earlville High School in 1949.

She married Dale Harris on Sept. 5, 1953, in Earlville, and they farmed in rural Delhi until Dale's death on Sept. 20, 1974.

Donna then moved to Earlville and was employed in the dietary department of the Good Neighbor Home, where she had worked since 1975. Donna was a member of Earlville United Parish and its HOPE and Women's fellowship groups, the U Go I Go Club and Earlville Federated Garden Club.
